How to plan your PPSC preparation

Build a realistic preparation plan around your exam requirements, available time and practice results.

Define the preparation target

Identify the post and exam you are preparing for. Use the relevant official notice and syllabus, where provided, to establish requirements. Tayyari's growing collection supports practice; it does not claim to represent the complete syllabus or all historical Papers.

Make a plan that fits your time

List the Subjects you need to cover and the time you can realistically spend each week. Allocate study and revision sessions around those constraints. There is no single preparation duration that guarantees success for every learner.

Use practice to find gaps

Read a relevant Paper and attempt the questions available to you. Notice which concepts cause difficulty. Browse Topics to find lessons with the appropriate scope and preparation level.

Try a Free Topic to see the full lesson and both tests before choosing whether Pro is useful for your preparation. Pro access expands the practice content; it does not guarantee exam results.

Separate learning from revision

After studying a lesson, use its Lesson Test to check understanding. Use its Past Paper Test to practise the original assigned questions. Return to the explanation when an answer is wrong, rather than only repeating the same option until it is familiar.

Reserve time to revisit earlier Subjects as well as starting new ones. Adjust your schedule when practice shows a recurring gap.

Interpret results carefully

Tayyari Stats combine saved Paper answers and completed current tests. Unanswered questions and unfinished tests do not measure what you have learned. A high score on a small familiar set is not evidence that you have covered the syllabus.

Topic frequency counts apply to the released collection. They can help you navigate that collection, but should not replace the official requirements or your own review of weak areas.

Review the plan regularly

Check whether your schedule is achievable and whether you are improving on the concepts you found difficult. Keep the parts that help, reduce unrealistic commitments, and leave time for revision. Use the Paper-to-Topic workflow when deciding what to practise next.
